Chas 2007 Table of Contents This is a message for the
people of Chateauroux who gave us such a warm welcome during the "Good Old
Days" or as you say, "formidable,"n'est-ce pas?" It was a wonderful experience to walk again through the streets of Chateauroux and recognize the landmarks we had kept in our minds all these many years - the Cathedral, the River Indre, Cite de Touvent and La Martinerie. It all came back to us when we stepped off the train, just as we had in 1954. It was a new experience then and a lovely experience in 2007!
