10-28-07   [My] unit was “Chateauroux  Special Support Depot” and was a detachment of the San Antonio Air Material Area” . We provided test equipment calibrations and high  priority supply support for some special equipment. The unit was reassigned to Hq USAFE in 1965 and relocated to Rhine Maine AB in Germany and deactivated about 1967. In 1966 I was reassigned to Sandia Base, Albuquerque, NM, from there to Viet Nam and then to Beale AFB, CA, where I retired in 1974 as Commander of a maintenance squadron.
